This should have been a topic decades ago. In the 90s I campaigned on street corners in the Denver metro areas for getting hemp on the ballot. I out loud, in public as a long-haired dope smoker promoting this would point out all the amazing things hemp does even if never ingested for pleasure.

It grows annually 2-3 mature harvests per summer in terrible soil, way less water usage, NO FERTILIZER JUST WATER AND SUNLIGHT, and no pesticides cause NOTHING LIKES TO EAT IT! It is a no-brainer even if NEVER LEGAL FOR RECREATION it makes no sense to NOT pursue this!
