You know what.. I was thinking I saw this very same strategic play,
play out in real life. I used to work for a large bank in MI, (they also had branches in Ohio & ILL. and were bought out by 5/3 around 2000). I worked in the corp. office. In the latter years of the 90's I watched many men receive pink slips and a woman would replace them. My boss was Chief of Security over the entire Corporation, a Big, Imposing Figure of a Man. He held that position for decades and was removed. A sassy, young woman replaced him. WHY?? There was an agenda to get air heads and those who
wouldn't question status quo into *strategic* positions. Just my personal opinion. I believe they follow the same script, macro & micro.
