A couple of different games going on here.
“Trump Cards” is underwhelming to people..
One of the thing’s Trump’s doing?
HE’S TROLLING THE SH*T OUT OF THE BAD GUYS.
THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT.
When he announced he was running
people expected things beyond he was running
& he seemed a bit underwhelming there.
Every game is about Gamesmanship.
How do you snooker the other guy into believing
one thing when you’re about to do something else?
This is about getting the other party to play THEIR cards
get em in just the right position
when they’re still holding a handful of expensive cards
& then BAM!
PLAYING YOUR TRUMP CARD
& PUTTING AN END TO THE GAME..
Trump is playing a game & [the cards] are part of that game..
The WILD CARD can be any card in the deck
THAT HELPS YOU WIN THE GAME.
The Wild Card at this exact moment in time is no Joker

Good work as always Kat! Someone here asked, How do you play the Trump card when this is a chess game? I'd say both are at play.
