I knew John Hughes (movie producer) and his mother was my high school librarian. Some of the characters from Breakfast club and Ferris Buller's day off were people I knew....

I’m so old we frayed our own jeans and the whole were real from wearing them almost everyday! we usually patched the holes in our jeans though! 🤣😂

I am so old, I wore Sears Toughskins as a child.... That was until I was able to buy Levis. I was the same with the holes in the Jeans... I hated new pants.

those things were lined with concrete . worst jeans ever . I refused to wear them . my mom was poor but she knew i woukd onlycwear levis Charlie . my step mom was rich and bought them . she was a bitch 😂i was 11 and still remember . 😂👍

Same with me David... I worked as a caddie at 12 years of age in the summer so that I did not have to be embarrassed by my clothes at school. Funny how we are shaped by society, only to be set apart from it later in life.

I patched my jeans with bandanas and concert stage passes! The older and more worn out the better. I wish I had some of those, they were recorded history of travels and events!
