Heyy, AU ... this is Green-eyed Katt (Katherine) with a final update on Barry ... shortly after my last update on February 26 Barry was extubated and taken off the ventilator. A few days after that he was transferred to the inpatient rehab facility where I was transferred to. He has made tremendous progress since being here and is expected to be discharged this Friday, March 15. A full FOUR WEEKS since our accident. He will continue to rehab as an outpatient once he gets home and recovery is expected to take about 6 months to a year (he suffered a TBI).

The next time someone posts on his account it will be him. And yes, it was Barry who reposted @Mike314 (Mike Anon) earlier today. 😊

MUCH appreciation for each and every single one of you here on AU! You all are truly a blessing. ❤

My wife went to er last night her blood sugar was 800. They kept her, we don't know for how long yet.
They mentioned something about type 2 diabetes. I am wondering if any of y'all have some advice on what type of foods she can eat or how to beat this thing. Thank You in advance.

Prayer request please

Well, I guess there's a first time for everything. I know there are a lot of us that either don't want to ask for help or tend to think we can always do something on our own. The first time I ever prayed was a little over 5 yrs ago and have done it everyday, multiple times a day for over 3 yrs. I have felt and witnessed some amazing miracles, that's why it is embedded in my heart now. I've witnessed that in groups and the collective it is very powerful. Now I am feeling the need to ask for y'alls help. I know God knows my worry and will guide me. I am strong in my faith, yet my mind is pulling at me on this matter I have. I ask you all to please say a prayer for me and ask God to give me strength on this if you would.
