True, most kids do not need tonsilectomies IMO. First of all as an RN I have seen complications from the surgery. Secondly, it is often done on overweight children who have "sleep apnea" rather than addressing their overwight/ obesity issues! Poor diets of highly processed foods, and lack of exercise, are a big part of the chronic illness in children. So are too many vaccines that damage their natural immune systems. 😉
