I remember when this episode aired back in 2015, I went wide eyed and showed other people that clip and I was laughed at and mocked for it back then. 😆

Why do they all look alike? Are they trapped in a hell cycle?

Imagine if you can, a world where the top celebs sign away their likeness, voice, dna, personality for a billion years, spanning the universe (that last part is actually in their contract.)

They own the image forever, so they could just wheel out a "replacement", call him or her the "hot new thing" and voila, return on investment, FOREVER.

Just thought I'd mention this since there are some folks out there that think that all movies are EVIL.

This is director John Paul Rice talking about why Hollywood rehashes the same movie concepts over and over again - to keep us in a holding pattern of ideas and unable to expand on our THINKING.

The thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of great INDEPENDENT films out there, just like there are independent music artists. There are not beholden to mainstream creative restrictions, often struggle, and we should support them.

This movie "Everything Everywhere All At Once" is an indie film that made it big. It's awesome in the way they put together all this crazy stuff that shouldn't work together, but it did, and magnificently.

Ke Huy Quan plays the leading man, and he came out of retirement to do this film after last playing the little Asian kid in GOONIES in the 80s. You have to wonder why he retired...and what persuaded him to come back?
