600 young people from the DPJ find themselves on the streets when they turn 18. Why? Because the government no longer pays the families who take them in as soon as they turn 18. These families don't keep these young people to help them; they keep them to receive government checks and make them work like slaves.
Their only hope is to live in tents in the cold.... About three weeks ago, a tent city for homeless people was dismantled in Montreal...and this Monday, December 8, the mayor of St-Jérôme, Quebec, will dismantle another camp, forcing young people to live in the cold. Currently in Quebec, families with children are living on the streets.
