Recently one emailed me and put in the subject line “I think I’ve become a Republican.” He explained how he couldn’t believe people such Jim Jordan, Rand Paul and other Republicans were making sense while watching the destruction of what he thought was the Democrat party.

I reminded him of what we have in common, and that it is time to realize we need unity to get through this, not more division. Forget the party people represent. How do they feel about freedom, justice, pursuit of happiness, equality, peace, and other virtues.
