Years Ago, Tesla Was Punished For Paying Back A DoE Loan Early
There are often penalties for paying off a loan early since the bank loses money in interest. Tesla paid a DoE loan off early anyhow, since the terms were bad.

Curious as to what these "onerous terms" were.
