Has anyone done any digging on wearing the cross as a piece of jewelry?

I have never felt comfortable with it, but I haven't contemplated "why". It just never felt right or desirable. I'm not ashamed, I can't can't put into words why (?).

Agree, at Easter time my spirit never felt good about all the attention with the cross and death of Jesus.
To much emphasis on all the evil.
