It's legit. There are a lot of police everywhere and there were antiwar demonstrations too in Russia. There are a lot of Ukrainians in Russia, who work/study/live there. They are extra careful.

Possible. I've seen this video yesterday (can't remember if it was TT or some forum that I follow). The second girl was Pro-government, allegedly. Might be a propaganda push. We know how algorithm works on TT.
