Those photos were taken by his friend, Jane Drummond while Jr was at Brown University. Ms Drummond revealed that the tattoo was not permanent and that it had been drawn on with a marker. That's why you don't see it in later pictures of a shirtless JFK Jr..The only known tattoo Jr has is a small shamrock on his right shoulder honoring his Irish heritage.
