Great chart!

If you grow roses, always plant them on the East side of the house where they'll get the first morning sun. This helps them dry off faster, so they don't develop black spot if it rains overnight.

Also, underplant them with garlic & chamomile.

Plant basil next to EVERYTHING... It's one of those "nurse" plants.

You can take a handful of basil or chamomile & steep it, then add to your watering can in the morning. You won't believe how it can perk up a plant that has suffered an attack by insects or whatever.

Mulching your strawberries with pine needles with give you 10X the flavor!

Thank you! Makes so much sense to me. Amazing what plants give back - they feed and maintain lifecycles (unless they're blocked or poisoned by Monsanto crud).

You're welcome, Sadie.

Here's another tip...

Plant Mille Fleur.... can't remember the name just now - in with all your herbs. YARROW!

Plant lots of it.

Your herbs will produce more essential oils & when you add Yarrow to the compost heap, its true beauty comes out...

Yarrow makes all things good.

Yarrow also speeds up decomp. It's a great plant just to throw in the decomp pile. :). Always an amazement to me to remember the wonders of our planet, the ecosystem and how independent it is. this system takes care of every plant, animal, piece of dirt - so disturbing the chem approach came in and polluted every nanoparticle of this pure system. thank you so much.

Hubs & I watched a documentary yesterday on the Battle of the Somme during WWI.

There was yarrow growing all over the place in No Man's Land where they were marching & fighting.

For all those poor boys that were shot, a wad of yarrow stuffed into the bullet hole could have stopped their bleeding with its astringent properties...

But, of course, they didn't know that...
