Long ago my ex husband was starting a business and wanted to use his savings. The local credit union would not allow him to take out more than a certain amount. They thought they needed to know what kind of business he was starting!! They seemed to think it was their business to decide if he SHOULD start his own business. Another time he was shopping and buying computer equipment for his business. They would not allow him to use his debit card for over something like $2000. I hate these banks.
