It is not uncommon for people in that area to go to Kenosha. Although there are stores and restaurants in the small communities, many of these are near farmland. So for people who want to go "out" for shopping and dinner or other social events, Kenosha is more appealing. Along Route 173 (Il side) and Rt 50 (Wi side) it is not surprising to see many Wisconsin and Illinois license plates.
