Ashwagandha Improves Hypothyroidism
By Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D.
The herb ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), also called Indian ginseng, has a number of useful properties, including improving memory and obsessive-compulsive disorder, preventing neurodegeneration, and benefiting immunity.

Editor's Note: Millions Suffer From Chronic Conditions β€” Don't Know It’s Their Thyroid

It also has anticancer properties. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 50 people with subclinical hypothyroidism (mild hypothyroidism that is not clinically recognized), researchers found that ashwagandha improved objective measures of thyroid function significantly in all the subjects.

Ascorbic acid and vitamin C are not stored by the body. When you ingest the supplement, the portion of the substance that's not used by the body is expelled through your urine. Vitamin C is essential for the growth and repair of soft tissue. It is also a natural antioxidant, eliminating free radical cells from your body, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center. Free radical cells promote disease and mutation. Vitamin C naturally occurs in citrus fruits and leafy green vegetables. If you develop adverse reactions after taking the supplement, discontinue use and call your doctor.

Lemons and oranges are very high in natural vitamin C.
Quercetin is a natural allegery preventative. Not a good source of Vitamin C.
Black Cumen Seeds : The black cumin seed, also known by its scientific name as nigella sativa or kalonji, belongs to the buttercup family of flowering plants. The good thing about black cumin seeds is that you can use them to treat digestive tract conditions such as colic, gas, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, constipation, and dysentery. Black seeds can also treat respiratory conditions such as allergies, flu, congestion, cough, asthma, swine flu, and emphysema. Another unique factor of black cumin seeds is that they are versatile and have plenty of health benefits. These seeds have been used for over three thousand years to prevent various diseases.
