Halo, the Goffin I rescued 7 years ago, climbed onto my chest a few weeks after living with me, got right in my face and proceeded to tell me (with her eyes, her heart and her Goffin words) how Grateful she was. She often repeats a similar gesture when we go through our nighly cuddle routine. Nothing like that first time, however, always happy and with Love.

Went to fill my large water bottles this morning.
They've been strict about masks during mandates.
Claimed my freedom and "no consent" in my car on the way.
Walked in maskless, think I was the only one, had no problem, no questions!
