I read yesterday that they found her body. Just a few minutes into this, I told myself, he killed her. This poor woman. I saw myself in her. Men like this, they are not men. They think they are "real men", but they are not. Sometimes people stay for reasons other than brainwashing; circumstances sometimes prevent leaving right away. The very sad thing is, people on the outside, with all of their virtue signaling, DO NOT UNDERSTAND the nature of this type of abuse. The victim is often blamed by the most well intentioned people. When I describe my situation to some people, they blame me. It is easy to cast blame when you do not know all of the facts. But how do you explain the deep pain to people who only care about judging you and using your vulnerability against you? Human nature seems to work this way. Unless you have people in your life who care about you, it is a difficult path to navigate. I thank God for the women I found just at the right time who helped me leave.

The "funnY" thing is, we as a people are being gaslighted on a massive scale and so many don't see it. They don't know we are all being psychologically abused by all of these systems we were taught to trust. I had a therapist once tell me that she was surprised after everything I shared with her that I didn't have a "mental illness." I feel like I am seeing mental illness everywhere with people who think it is a good idea to KILL people who question that poison, who question WHY and SAYS WHO?
