The wealth of a nation cannot be calculated by mere $$$. The most prosperous countries in terms of wealth are long gone. They're merely shadows of dust particles. The REAL wealth of any country or nation consists of it's leaders and its people. If you have corruption at the top, the middle and bottom will be corrupt as well. If you have leaders of fortitude, of good character, that have the best interest of their people at heart, people respect those leaders and react accordingly.
