Ripple’s chief market strategist Cory Johnson had the privilege of introducing Ripple and XRP to President Donald Trump’s administration.
In a recent interview with BREAKER, Johnson clarifies certain issues that have been hounding the San Franciso-based firm, which caused a lot of confusion. He says that the difference between the XRP token and Ripple is one of the major causes of the confusion.
During the interview, Johnson has also discussed his meeting with members of the Trump administration, which revolved around Ripple and digital currency. Ripple.com is where you purchase XRP. I don't know enough about crypto to answer your question re utility or security token. All I know is lots of Anons have purchased XRP as it is dirt cheap at this time and there is literally very little to lose and a lot to gain

I don't see why Texas banks wouldn't allow it. I think they are saying that because the money doesn't go directly through Kraken. com, you have to transfer the money you want to invest to "Signature Bank" which I believe is a Canadian bank. In the description you HAVE to add "Kraken.com" after the code they provide. That way they know it is going to Kraken. I don't even believe there was a fee charged for that. It did take a day or two for Kraken to credit the money.
Then contact Chat within Kraken.com and have them walk you through the process of buying XBT (if you invest 5,000, you will buy approx. .013 of XBT). When that clears, you buy XRP/XBT. What that means is you are now buying XRP with the XBT you have. It is called a pair. Chat will walk you through it.
