humorousmathmatics site is halted & blocked with a serious virus warning by my Avast Browser. Almost never get that warning, so listening to my tech on this one.

We have new ads with pop up issues ,adn we are wokring on getting those resolved as they are scaring away many users. I use avast also and do not get popups cause Brave browser + adblock.

I use an Avast suite that includes antivirus + browser that has its own ad-block. Ads alone wouldn't trigger its virus warning. Perhaps you should check your code? Maybe someone advertising on your site has a virus? That's rather common. If so, it must be an aggressive virus rather than just a preference tracker. You site's the 1st that's hit me with a virus attempt (according to Avast) in a long time.

Also I believe the guy who installed the ads set us up with his own redirection links (to si[phon views) which are like popups so they are triggering the avast

Right but im saying I use avast (without the garbage chrome extension) an instead use brave browser with adblock and I dont see ads on the internet. Trsut me I know what Im talking about lol

Boy, know what you mean about Avast Browser using Chrome! Just complained to one of the Avast support team about it last week. I was sticking w Avast Browser mainly bc it had a YouTube download feature, but that apparently died again as a result of their latest browser update, which was a bugfest.
Does Brave have a Bank Mode feature? hmmm... sorry, it's not your job to educate me on that is it? LOL I'll check it out. I'm REALLY unhappy w Avast Browser's Chromeness.
