Some days I get down on myself. It comes in waves, like I am not good enough for the things that I want in my life. I wonder how to change that so my perspective is optimistic. That I can pray and work hard enough to see the results come into existence. Nothing will replace the satisfaction of rewarding yourself for the effort not the outcome. Put in the effort. That’s most important. Walk the walk. If you reward yourself on outcome, things will never be good enough. Each outcome will only last a certain while until you need the next one. But your effort will last a lifetime and always be there for you to tap into.
