All I will say about this...

When one is a Mountain Guide, every decision made is about THE SAFETY OF THE GUIDED CLIMBERS...PERIOD.

The Mountain Guide ENTERS A CONTRACT to protect the lives of the guided climbers - THAT'S PRIORITY 1.
The objective is to get everyone up, but more importantly, safely back down the mountain NO MATTER WHAT - even if that means turning around and leaving that summit to be attempted some other day.
The mountain isn't going anywhere.

It is the Mountain Guide's DUTY to not get themselves or their guided climbers into a situation they can't get themselves out of.

A Mountain Guide NEVER leaves a guided climber behind.
The Mountain Guide STAYS WITH THEM and does EVERYTHING TO FACILITATE A RESCUE IN AN EMERGENCY.

THE MOUNTAIN GUIDE CARRIES AN INJURED OR WEAK CLIMBER DOWN ON THEIR BACK IF THEY HAVE TO.
