Thanks to a Traumatic Brain Injury I learned that in my early 20s.

Seizure med did NOT work..Nuroligest said I would be on med rest of my life.
I prayed...reduced dose and STOPPED.

Many years later Drug removed from market due to causing BRAIN ATROPHY! Great...someone with Brain Injury really needs to loose more Brain???

I thank God for PRAYER, PEACE and DISCERNMENT.

i know what you mean, a few years back i had seizures and ended up in the hospital for 3 days ( wasnt aware of anything around me) when they woke me up and i came home, i was on seizure meds , went off after reading up on it and had another one so i am sorta stuck,take the meds or get the siezures , i hate it totally

What I did was notice what the triggers were.

Discovered stress (How I handled it)
diet (be careful about processed foods)
and
sleep (not ignoring sleep patterns)
were key.

They didn't stop immediately...but as I grew more cognitive of say missed meals, not getting enough rest I noticed I was prone to a seizure.
I discovered peanut butter crackers would help in an emergency. Gradually I saw improvement.
I was like a zombie..they couldn't control them with meds..so they kept increasing...
Praying...I wasn't sure I would see success..but meds didn't work anyway...
That's how it worked for me.
