When I sold health supplements, I met a young couple; the wife said, " I'm so disgusted with him (her husband); he drinks Mountain Dew all day every day." I turned to him and said, "Do you realize it takes 30 glasses of water to neutralize the acid in one soda??" He didn't respond.

A few months later they came back in.
The wife said, " I want you to know he's only had one Mountain Dew since you told him that, and he couldn't drink it; he poured it down the sink. And, he's lost 40 pounds!"

Wow, that's interesting.

I'm so sick of all this poisonous food in the grocery stores. They ruin everything.

It was ramped up slowly, so was relatively unnoticed.
In the '60s there were real ingredients in food products - milk, butter, sugar, eggs.
Now it's processed chemicals.
