This is really interesting. I have an antique book, that came to mind after seeing this. I need to find it. I think the name is something like American history new Amsterdam. A small blue book, regarding American History. It may be older than this one, I'm not for sure. It is in storage, but when I find it I will actually read it!

I'm in now way at all a historian, but I have heard mentioned somewhere about a 'New Amsterdam', I'll be wondering now where & when I read/heard it..🤔.
