How dangerous would this tech weapon be to children now that they are bringing them to areas where ICE is attacked

Our Military has weapons that can also put everyone into Deep REM sleep. Push of a button. Sleeping doesn't hurt anyone, unless they fall and hit their heads...OOPS. Just step over them while zip-tying the snoring rioters.

So basically with 3 of them you can pin anyone or any group into a box and tighten it until they're standing on each others toes, probably.
