A lot of people do not live past 70. What happens to the money they put in? Even if you live to 75 "The average life expectancy for males in the United States is approximately 75.8" They do not use up all that is put into SS. 😏 https://x.com/C_3C_3/statu...

My husband worked from 14 years old until 64 years old up until his death. Never collected SS because he didn't retire. That was a lot of money they kept. My dad collect SS at 62 died in 1981. The big problem is people collected in the 60's/70's but with inflation they were living below poverty...they could hardly afford groceries. When they would get a little increase, everything else went up as well which meant they still lived in below poverty. Then when you die (it does not matter which day of the month) they take BACK the SS check for that month. Mom lived until the 28th of September & they took September deposit back. They have you do direct deposit so they can easily go into your account. Greed
