The word also says that no word is given without interpretation, period. I spent almost 20 years in a pentecostal church. I was somewhat considered the odd one because I didn't walk around blabbering nonsense.
So many people 'read' the word, yet don't understand the simple teachings that are obvious. They complicate the scripture as if it was a secret formula that only they are given knowledge of. Quite sad actually...
