Personal story:
I have neuropathy and retinopathy.
I have started taking Alpha Lupoic Acid now for 3 days.
The pain in my legs from muscle cramps and my Achilles heels bursting, has dramatically lessened. I can now walk without pain!
Did my doctor tell me about this? NO!
Why? Because she wanted to put me on an additional 3 pharma medications and those were not even to address the nueropathy! or merely because of GREED to make more money as a Doctor to keep me sick.

That's fantastic, Kris! I have a similar story... At the beginning of this summer, I developed peripheral neuropathy. I am not diabetic, so I was puzzled about the cause. It got so bad, that I went to the ER. After finding all my labs normal, the ER doctor said it could be due to a vitamin B6 imbalance. This is not the type of problem my primary care physician would want to explore, so I studied everything I could about B6 deficiency and B6 toxicity. I was also having insomnia (likely due to an increase in GABA at night ) - caused by elevated plasma PLP levels - PLP is the chemical - pyridoxine-5'-phosphate - used to supply B6 in supplements and fortified grains. I decided my issue was due to pyridoxine (B6) toxicity. I removed all sources of B6 from my diet - not just from supplements, but also fortified grains. Fast-forward to August, no symptoms of peripheral neuropathy or insomnia.

I am glad you figured this out, your work and experience will help others!!!
For the Peripheral Retinopathy, as a side note. I was seeing the flashes again in my right eye. I have already gone blind about 7 years ago or so. Completely blind with both eyes that recovered with them re-attaching both retina's, except I am back to being blind completely in my right eye. and I worried because of the flashes again, it signifies damage and worse! I was doing the Castor Oil, but not with complete results, however I use it from time to time to help with dry eye and the other eye stuff. But since taking this Alpha Lipoic Acid for the 3 days, I am seeing a lot less flashes as well in the right eye! It makes me feel a little better!!! 💫

So glad to hear the Alpha Lipoic Acid is helping reduce your retina flashes. I had a detached retina in my left eye - it was torn up so badly that I needed a scleral buckle. Thank you so much for sharing - learning about issues other are solving - is very helpful to all of us. 😍

Sorry you had to go through that, I know first hand with losing both retinas to blindness, that it was for me. Everything I did was based on sight, except for as a child I knew to recognize with fine details my surroundings in case I went blind. Perhaps I knew as a child?
And YVW!!! And I quite agree!!! Sharing helps us all!!!
