A healthy, precious baby girl was born to our daughter and her husband. I am so very relieved and happy! She is our 7th grandchild, four boys and three girls. Our house will be totally nutty when all are here together, five of the seven are very close in age. 😍

I grew up in Germany. When I was a child, my parents forbade me to enter a church without adult supervision. They didn't say why, I know now.
My mom exited organized religion formally when she was 21. Religion is taxed in Germany, the gov takes this tax directly out of your pay.
Religion was a mandatory subject in all public schools. My father encouraged me to read the Bible, but I was excluded from religion classes by order of my parents. I was the only one, the school put me in a storage closet for the duration of this class. One chair, one desk and shelves with stuff. Once a gypsy girl joined me in this closet for the duration the circus was in our town.
