The black is from the flame, it's soot. Orange flames are known as being "dirty" flames. Try with a blue (clean) flame by using a small gas torch, shouldn't see black. If you do I'd be surprised.
Although, the fact it's not melting is concerning. Shows it's most likely synthetic or modified.

may be man maid but its evaporating before it can drip. the snowball dipped in qhere the flame was.
