Hope, my best friend (I consider him my Brother) and business partner for years, who was also an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper, his daughter has severe autism. She can't speak, can't walk, can't move - totally immobilized. Before Alzheimer's started setting in on him, he'd go to her care home, pick her up, carry her out the door, load her into the car, and take her for a pretty drive EVERY SATURDAY.
