We got wildfires goin' in America, especially in The West, and also in Canada.
Pray for PROTECTION over our Firefighters (and First Responders), too.
It's dangerous work from the air and also on the ground.
Saving Lives & Property!

One not far from the little valley I live in the AZ.
Just reading we are still on 'stand-by' for evacuations. It has not been a huge fire, but the winds can kick up quickly and blow like no one's business. So far, so good.

Hopefully that'll get contained, fast.

It's a good idea in those situations to prep with a bugout bag and don't forget those valuables you might wanna take with, including important documents you can't replace. Just have essential things ready to toss in your vehicle and go. Some food and bottled water set aside, too. Cash. Keep your fuel tank full. Some camping gear not a bad idea either, spare clothes. How about Pets?

I was involved in aerial firefighting years ago, and know it's not good to wait 'till last minute. Always preserve LIFE over property.

Folks have perished trying to grab that "one last thing" and all it takes is inhaling one breath of super-heated air in front of the fire and it's lights out. Always err on the side of caution. Property can always be replaced.
