Who gave the Catholic church the authority to ALLOW someone to skip mass? Most of these illegals don't attend mass any way. Those who are skipping mass are choosing to do so. Anyone allowing the church to advise them to skip mass in order to avoid possible deportation actions is deceived by the church. The Bishop has zero power over anyone without their permission. The Bishop can neither save you nor condemn you. Only God is able to make that judgement.
