If mom is a 'job'..then the term should be:
PART time mom/FULL time mom.

As for "understand"
My impression of Miranda is that it gives the arrested person legal rights.
As for "Do you understand" well, that usually comes after a parent has scolded or lectured a child.
One of my professors used to write a bunch of equations on the blackboard - (not the whiteboard) and then when he was finished, he'd turn around and say, "Understand?"
No one would answer.
So he'd insist, "Say RIGHT."
Then everyone, except me, said "Right."

So when "summoned", (see there - more tricky language - "summoning" is what one does to THE DEAD during a seance. They consider us dead-entities, "lost at sea".) I filled out my Jury Duty form with the following statement:

THEY KICKED ME OUT OF THAT COURTROOM FASTER THAN ICE IS KICKING CRIMINAL ALIENS OUT OF AMERICA. 😳😂
