It is WAR, Kat. "THE WAR AGAINST TERROR".
So it's not just INSURRECTION, it's also TERRORISM, IMO.
Let's look at that VERY BROAD definition again:
18 U.S. Code § 2331 - Definitions 🧐
"(5) the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that—
(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and..."
HELLO?! 🙄
Since they are belligerent occupiers, but forgot to show flags and which foreign power they are "warring" on behalf of by Noon on Jan. 20, 2022, they are likely now classified as "unprivileged belligerents" which is a really bad category to be in - unprotected by the Geneva Convention and all.
