I've seen Comet Ping Pong with my own eyes and the sight is quite disturbing.
It's on Connecticut Ave in DC. We were close by for an event for my alma mater at the British Embassy last autumn and our route home took us directly by that horrific site of torture and death.
We wanted to stop and spit on it but decided instead to get out of there as quickly as possible.
DC is a hellhole even in the ritzy areas.
