Where does the 'staying power' come from for a sunset or an amazing ocean view to stun and amaze us? It comes from transcendent beauty. This isn't subjective 'inner-me' type of reacting. It's something truly outside of yourself - moving you, changing you by simple fact that you've experienced it.
