Nothing really surprises me anymore.
Military bases with CCP stores, CCP owned land near our bases, but how many congressmembers has the CCP owned?
I recall, almost 20 years ago, at my daughter's new home-everything said Made in China.
A friend wrote me,
"I was in graduate school, studying Chemistry. Big university, large, highly esteemed Chemistry department.
It was fifty years ago; I was at a top school and there were only, counting me, six white students - the rest were Chinese.
The Chinese students never spoke to us, never even looked at us."
It's no wonder China 'retaliated' against us with higher tariffs. However, I'll trust that when Trump says they don't have the cards, because he must know something I don't know.

Just Mee @TrustinGod
There are stores that carry the rubber squeaky toys for dogs. I'll bet they have formaldehyde or other poison in them. The evil is right in front our face.

Yes, children's toys with lead paint and what else?
And toys for pets, that makes sense, they already sold us poison dog food.
I think there is a longer list of bad China products.
BTW, I recall when I was a child, there was a call for people not to buy things made in Japan. It may simply have been because, like China, now, the Japanese products were made more cheaply and sold more cheaply than similar US made products.
Hmmm, so 50 years ag, was cheap Japanese crap responsible for closing down our factories?
Image: Here's a comparison of can openers, one made in China, the other made in US.
