Ramdisapher and those f ing ventilators. Omg. They killed so many of our Loved Ones 💔
A coworker had his MIL die alone. Probably gave her a warm water glove for comfort. Dear God 💔

Hope, I believe the ventilators were for the children rescued from tunnels when the two hospital ships were stationed in New York and LA.

Anuenue I believe you are also correct.
I also think the situation of rescuing children from deep underground places (knowing many DUMBs & tunnels were 10km deep, or approx. 33.000 feet deep) was made even more difficult because the children were acclimatized to the higher atmospheric pressure of the deep, and when they were being rescued & brought up I suspect they some cases started suffering from cerebral & pulmonary edema - or rupturing of blood vessels due to the abrupt pressure change which can be fatal. Kind of like how divers get "the bends".
Keep in mind the depths we are talking about are deeper than Mount Everest is tall above sea level. Pulmonary & cerebral edema risks are very real.
They probably had to rush in portable hyperbaric chambers or Gamow Bags to try save the kids, or worse, take the children back down.
If someone was to go from sea level to the top of Mount Everest all at once (without acclimatizing over time) they would likely perish in minutes.

I've always envisioned the med bed as a very updated version of the hyperbaric chambers.

Have read of the therapeutic benefits of the hyperbaric chambers for decades now and wondered why they weren't more common in medical use.

That was before becoming awake, now know the reason they weren't used, they actually cured conditions, and the medical field couldn't make all that money.
