I do not like taxes; with that said, if you do not have property taxes, who is supposed to pay for upkeep on roads, power lines, water treatment, sanitation services, etc. ? That is the part I never see mentioned with a solution in the meme. Some people choose to live in one place versus another based on the tax rates and we do get explanations of what public services those taxes are funding. For those who do not want property taxes, would the idea be these funds come out of what is collected via the flat tax?
