People have lost everything betting in the stock market, too.
Bitcoin is a scam. It is only a storer of value. It has no function other than to serve as an alternative currency.
There are other cryptos that actually have use function and could BENEFIT people by modernizing finances.
Buffett doesn't like it because that threatens banks' monopoly on finance, and Buffett is a toadie for Big Banks.
