it's so mystifying how these symbols hold so many souls captive. God created US in HIS OWN IMAGE. What a great compliment! Why do some people seek idols to worship rather than our Father God who loved us so much that He created us in HIS IMAGE? One of the saddest verses in the Holy Word of God is found in Genesis 6th chapter:
"The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled."
How sad that His most beloved creations Human Beings would become so polluted that He regretted creating them. Our penchant for evil has not abated. Multitudes still migrate toward evil today. Will we ever return to the Creator who breathed into our souls life? I believe that some of us surely will. I plan to be among those saints.
