🍏 It's said that Alan Turing was essential
in the creation of the first computer
that was used at Bletchley Park
to break the Nazi Enigma machine.
It's also surmised that he committed suicide
by biting into a cyanide apple
& THAT is why Steve Jobs called his company
APPLE, in honor of Alan Turing,
& the logo is an apple with a bite missing.
Whether true or not, a fun story.
I recommend THE IMITATION GAME.

Wow Kat! 🤯 Now that's a twist on the Apple Logo story that AT LEAST is not satanic, though still not exactly cheerful. Someone who was a true Pioneer in computers like Steve Jobs (not Bill Gates who never invented anything) would know that story about Alan Turing.
The NAZI Enigma Code Machines were especially important to German Submarine operations & breaking those codes were critical in the Allied war effort to stop the "Wolf Packs" decimating Allied Maritime Supply Lines.
We will be learning how far advanced the German U-Boats actually were, reportedly even fitted with stealth features that rendered them virtually INVISIBLE as they surfaced to exchange air & that those advancements were critical in Hitler's escape from Germany & ESPECIALLY the establishment of a Breakaway Nazi Society in Antarctica (+ they came here) which then created the 4th Reich that America & the World suffered under since WWII...

but unfortunately, he was gay, at a time in the U.K.
when it was ILLEGAL to be.
