I am thankful they're finally looking into all the waste in the system. My 82 yo mother with serious RA so bad her L hand is curled in on itself, cannot even get decent pain management medication because 'she might become addicted' since 2022.
Seriously? She's 82!! Who cares if she's addicted to a manageable dose of morphine daily! She's Eighty Freaking Two!
This sort of madness has to cease and our seniors, most of whom rely on Medicare, deserve so much better for all their years of life and contributions to us all than to suffer in silence.
Hopefully, we can restore their dignity and provide true healing within a few years if not months in the new technologies coming soon, I pray, and there will be no need for drugs at all.
