Devils advocate here....they gave them phones when they crossed the border that have GPS so they could keep track of them.
Perhaps settling them all in one place was just easier to round them up when the regime changed.

If the deportation of illegals is going to seriously happen then they would have begun with Colony Ridge, don't you think? I feel that Trump is over cautious on going after all the illegals in the country which is why he started with the most violent offenders. Maybe hoping we will be satisfied with that much???? I am just not convinced that he will perform a mass deportation of illegals here and certainly not the DACA ones which means he is not really serious about ending anchor baby citizenship. Now that we are informed by DOGE about all the 'random dollars' going down rat holes, this 'city' SURELY has to be one of the recipients of the redirected funds.
