I wrote this on facebook tonight for those w/friends/family who are freaking out over Trump's temp. spending freeze.
Feel free to circulate.
Some people are freaking out over Trump's temporary spending freeze.
But that is unnecessary, and I will explain why.
First, it's temporary.
Second, not included are Pell Grants, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and SNAP.
Third, many universities, non-profits, etc. have been receiving BILLIONS of dollars - every year - on we the taxpayer's dime.
How many of these entities have EVER undergone an audit?
How many of them have EVER had to show full accountability for those grants and funding received?
I've been at this researching stuff for about 30 years now without attachment to any political party. (I'm registered Independent)
I have good instincts for these things and can look at stuff with a logical mind and eye (well when I make myself - lol - I am human AND female so I have my moments).

I see what will be happening with this move is investigations to ensure those funds that are OUR money are being used TRUTHFULLY (as they state), PROPERLY, ETHICALLY and LEGALLY.
We can all agree there is nothing wrong with that.
It's a strategic business move on his behalf.
So before freaking out, let it play out.
The truth will come out
and that truth may just shock some of you
as you see how corrupt many of these organizations really are
and how they have been lying to you while using your money for projects never meant for you to know of.
