Maybe he will be a role model of how to serve your country without staying in party lockstep but exercising integrity to your values. I believe people enter into that arena with good intentions and have no idea how underhanded the entrapment schemes are. In talking with an elder, they suggested this issue might stem from the system that raises people to be politicians rather than a more organic approach. When we see the same names over and over scattered across this great country, it does seem there may be truth to that. The capital it takes to get into the system seems to be the other challenge. People generally have unfavorable opinions of politicians but they are in the arena, similar to how some people look down on the military... they are also in the arena.
